Mr. Nash possesses an extensive law enforcement background which includes his certification as a Law Enforcement Instructor in 1988 and as a Law Enforcement Master Instructor in 1994. With Mr. Nash's thirty (30) plus years of law enforcement experience, eleven of which were spent as the Training Director/Division Commander for the Fulton County Sheriff's Department, he is able to provide the officers of LD Security Services with an insight and understanding that is unsurpassed in the security industry. The security officers of LD Security Services are now the recipients of the same dedication, abilities, and knowledge that led Mr. Nash to South Africa to train members of Nelson Mandela's election committee staff and to Israel to train with the Israeli Law Enforcement Division. Program Details In addition to the first class Training Administrator, LD Security Services has provided to the officers a first class Training Program. The Training Program of LD Security Services is geared to provide the officers with a well-rounded understanding of their duties as security officers and the boundaries in which they operate. Upon completion of the Training Program each officer will be knowledgeable following: Identify and understand the legal authority of a security officer Familiarity with the equipment and techniques to aid in fire prevention and to aid in the response to fires Knowledgeable of the control measures to help ensure the safety of the general public Possess an understanding of the role of the security officer when responding to a crime in progress and the proper procedures to ensure the public safety during such an event. Familiarity of the standard procedures used when dealing with a medical emergency. Possess an understanding of the role of the Private Detective and Security Agency of Georgia Familiarity of the rules and regulations regarding state certified security personnel.
